This is most people’s first add-on class to move up to. This is where you get a lot of live rounds (still training as a team, trying to make everyone better not like a fight club, this is why we go to competitions). This will definitely push your strength and cardio. These rounds give you lots of opportunities to start to learn how to use the techniques you have learned in the basic and mixed-level classes but a higher pressure and more real-life situation. You will also be glad if you have been pushing yourself in our fighter fitness classes!
Advanced Grappling
In this class, we invite people who have not only learned to defend themselves in grappling situations but have started to look for finishes in their rounds. This is where you start to plan multiple moves in front of your opponents and know their options before they do. In this class, you will learn how to do all the basics better, set up traps for your opponents, turn bad situations into advantageous ones, and much more!
Advanced Striking
We invite people to this class when we see them being able to stay calm and use good basic techniques instead of wild or uncontrolled strikes in sparing sessions. In this class, you will learn more advanced footwork, angles, and setups to really take your striking to the next level. While learning this you will also learn how to read and manipulate your opponents into doing things that will play well into the types of strikes and techniques you like to use. This is where you go from playing checkers to playing chess!
